Pipe line telemetry and power

Axon have a patented system for superimposing communications and power on pipe line structures. This system can be used in oil field downhole environments and also in pipe lines in many other situations

Main project core is Smart pipe

• Use the tubing or flow line as the power and communications medium.
• Supply large amounts of power with simultaneous fast communications to any where in the system.
• Use downhole, surface or subsea or all together.
• Use any node connection for control, power and monitoring.
• Applications both oil field and industrial.

Test systems built to date have achieved 2 kW power transfer and >30Kbaud full duplex over up to 10,000 feet of pipe.

Applications for this technology are

• Cable less permanent gauge systems, multiple gauges, no cable
• Cable less sub sea well head control and monitoring, control power and sensors.
• Pipe line monitoring with out cables, from either end of the pipe line.
• Remote pumping stations can be controlled and monitored using only the pipeline to it.
