This is a range of full rotary torque machines, for making up oil field tubulars. The machines can take any diameter pipe from 2 3/8 th to 14 inch without changing any of the clamping heads. It incorporates floating heads, load pin based torque measurement, and fully computer controlled operation with torque's up to 85,000 ft lbs. can be applied, and up to 25,000 ft lbs. with non-marking heads.

Both clamping heads are gimbal mounted to allow the machine to adjust to the position of the work piece. This reduces friction and improves the quality of the make up.

Full length stroking clamps allow the wide range of diameters to be accommodated without changing heads. The machine also has the most advanced rotary head control in the world today. The rotary motors have both closed loop speed and torque control. This allows precise control when working with expensive and precision components.
