Packer mounted gauge/pump monitor

This is a full multi-drop electronics system mounted inside a Nodeco RR packer. The device measures annulus (pump inlet) and production bore (pump outlet) pressure from the packer and produced fluid temperature. There are options to measure vibration, flow, and fluid characteristics, such as water cut ,and gas.

The monitor is an intelligent processor based unit, with sensors internal and also the capability to measure other remote sensors using the Advanced Data Port (ADP).

This unit can speed up offshore installation of permanent gauge systems, as the gauge is already fitted and pressure tested in the packer before reaching installation. This system also improves the life expectancy of gauge or pump monitors as the electronics are held virtually vibration free in the packer.

Plans are in place to create an ESP packer with an instrument coupling inside the packer to the ESP 3 phase power cable.
