The Cobra Adjustable gas lift valve system

This device allows an operator to alter the position of a gas lift valve from the surface. The tool can be mounted in a retrievable mandrel or fitted in to a gauge mandrel like permanent gauges are. The device is addressable and up to 128 can be mounted in one well, using a single wire cable for all of them. The system utilises a motor downhole to actuate the valve. The motor has active detent so the valve does not move unless driven
