Axon have developed a number of plant process monitoring systems and also data acquisition and software systems as part of other companies product ranges.
We work closely with a number of clients where Axon supply the electronics and software design and build capability for companies whose turnover or business does not justify permanent staff.
Work can be produced to your QA system and often made with your own logo and product names on it.
Axon have produced typically systems with a front end data acquisition of sensor values, either using PC I/O cards or instrument displays. Where difficult or unusual parameters need to be monitored or controlled, then Axon can typically create measurement or display electronics to complete the system to your specifications.
Systems that have been done to date are many but some examples are
1.0 Complete display and data acquisition system for two complexes of hydrostatic pressure test vessels. Sensors to monitor tension load inside the vessels, at 6,000 psia, pressure and temperature sensors for the vessels. A display panel to indicate all the measured parameters, and a computer with a serial data link to the display panel with custom software logging data as individual tests. The test software was developed to suit the clients internal job management systems.
2.0 Data acquisition for an ultrasonic, and an electromagnetic pipe inspection machine. The Axon element of these products includes sensors, data acquisition hardware and some control drives for paint spray guns. Hardware has included serial multi-drop communication PCBs for control of system set up and also DSP based high speed acquisition hardware with local data processing. Software developed bespoke for the client.
